Beware of mermaids. They will lure you into deep waters and then eat you.
Actually I thought of that after I posted this ... if she had spoken to me audibly instead of figuratively (or worse yet, sung to me) I could have been lured over to the bar where I would have met an untimely and gruesome demise, drowned in a watery/ethanolly grave.
Whew! Talk about a near miss.
