In January, I promised myself that I would go to the beach this year. It took scheming, finagling, and even flat-out lying to get myself here, but I did it.

Good for you! I love the picture.
Thanks to both of you for the encouragement. I don't like lying, but I decided that the ends justified the means in this case. I don't regret it at all. This is one of my favorite pictures from the beach.
