The Sky Is Falling!

Part of the roof of my work building came crashing down today around lunch time. The guy whose office window broke was, fortunately, not there at the time (thank God for meetings!) but it scared the bajezzus out of the guy and girl in the offices on either side of the broken widow; not to mention all the rest of us who heard the crash, boom, bang!
A kinda funny thing is that the area upon which the roof segment fell is where the office smokers generally gather. Heh, heh ... talk about an anti-smoking incentive!

HA! Awesome! Though, I never thought I'd 'hear' you say "thank god for meetings". Are you feeling ok?

Oh, I was simply "thank God"ing on his behalf. If it had been a meeting of mine, I almost definitely would have preferred to be in the demolished office. Or outside in the smoking area.

And since you asked, I'm not feeling great today. I came home from work early with a monster headache. First one that bad that I've had in awhile. :(
