This pipework is in the stairwell of my work building. I pass it at least twice a day, and it almost always elicits a little smirk out of me. To get the full effect, check out the impromptu scratch work on the left and right beige poles.

apparantly the guy who installed the plumbing/fire sprinkler system in my work building!
he ran out of fingers, i guess.
